1. Overview
This policy explains how Async Digital Solutions (“we”, “us” or “our”) processes information through TapPrint (the “App”), Android package com.async.tapprint. TapPrint helps users discover printers and print photos, PDFs, documents, web pages and contacts; it also provides scanning, live-text, PDF-signing and print-history tools.
Please do not send confidential documents, passwords or payment details to support. Use a redacted screenshot when an example is needed.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, the App may process:
- Device and diagnostics data: device type, operating system, app version, crash details and performance information.
- App activity: feature use and interactions used to understand and improve the App.
- Printer and network information: local-network addresses, printer names and connection details required to discover and communicate with printers on your network.
- Purchase information: subscription status and transaction identifiers used to provide premium access. Store providers process payments; we do not receive your complete payment-card number.
- Advertising information: ad views and interactions, device information and approximate location inferred from an IP address, subject to applicable consent settings.
3. Photos, documents and other content
When you choose a feature, TapPrint may access the photos, PDFs, documents, web addresses, contact details, camera captures, scanned text or signatures you select. This content is processed to preview, prepare, save, share or print it. Print jobs are sent to the printer or platform printing service you select. Items saved to print history are stored on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
Keep independent copies of important files and only print, scan or sign content you are authorised to use.
4. Device permissions
- Local network and nearby devices: discover and communicate with printers on the same network, including supported Bluetooth interactions.
- Camera: scan documents and use camera-based features.
- Photos and files: select images or documents and save output when you request it.
- Contacts: select contact information for the contact-printing feature.
- Microphone: may be requested by camera functionality; TapPrint does not use it to record voice conversations.
- Internet: load requested web content, provide ads, validate purchases and support analytics or diagnostics.
5. Service providers
The App may use third-party services for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, purchase management, app distribution and platform printing. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Google services may include Google Play, Firebase and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Apple services may apply on Apple platforms. We do not sell your personal documents.
6. How information is used
We use information to provide requested printing and scanning features, connect with printers, restore premium access, operate advertising, diagnose problems, improve reliability, prevent misuse, respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
7. Retention and security
On-device content remains until you remove it, clear App data or uninstall the App. Service providers may retain diagnostics, advertising or purchase records under their own policies. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You can manage camera, photo, file, contact, local-network, Bluetooth and other permissions in device settings. You can manage subscriptions through the store used for purchase and advertising choices through any consent controls presented to you. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction or deletion of applicable personal information by contacting us.
9. Children, international processing and updates
TapPrint is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in the user’s jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. Providers may process data in other countries with appropriate safeguards where required. We may update this policy as the App, providers or law changes.
